14 Mar Bridal Styled Shoot | Leslie-Alford-Mims House
This past weekend I had the honor of working with a few other incredibly talented women to pull off this stunning shoot. Seriously– Kristin, Zoe, Emma, and Savannah are true hometown heroes because my direction was “I love beautiful flowers that are kinda messy, and unique hair, oh and the occasional weird thing.” Boy did they deliver! I had the idea a few weeks ago just to put on a fun little shoot before the chaos of wedding season began and these girls were so kind to hop on board. A shoot to just create, play, and have fun. And that is just what we did.
Kristin, a former bride of mine and now dear friend, nailed the hair and makeup with that bold lip and beautiful braids. Zoe and Emma, from Belvedere Floral, two of the sweetest souls, put together the most BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS. Seriously, they straight up created a floral knapsack. Let that soak in for a bit– and future brides, take note 😉 And let us not overlook the massive floral hangings on the door. Goodness, so stunning. Nell, from Thornbury Brides here in New Bern, let me borrow two stunning dresses that Savannah wore so well. Finally, the Mims House was the perfect backdrop with stunning lighting and windows. So we threw some tunes on, took some photos, and had the best time.
